  • Development of new process techniques for the improvement of existing customer products or potential new business. 
  • Evaluate process improvements with experimentation as needed and provide recommendations to management with expected results.
  • Provide support to manufacturing for equipment troubleshooting, problem solving, project planning and execution. Includes but not limited to new equipment evaluation, new product and process development and implementation.
  • Support manufacturing equipment issues and process issues.
  • Support multiple projects with management from initial concept through final completion with active involvement throughout the projects' duration. This includes leading teams, tracking results, and reporting finding both good and bad.
  • Provide training and share information with management, production, and maintenance personnel on a variety of topics including equipment status, processing issues, and product quality.
  • Provide support to other internal customers and suppliers within ABX for their assistance in problem solving and improving process / production.
  • Follow up with technical notices or other written documentation for process or equipment changes and ensuring all changes are documented with updated materials.
  • Attend meetings as required, participating in informational updates.
  • Work closely with Customer, Sales, Vendors, as well as our ABX Planning / Scheduling Department to lead and coordinate Customer approvals.
  • Travel for company business as required to provide technical assistance for ABX customers.
  • Able to work all shifts as needed at a moment’s notice.
  • Other duties as assigned as needed.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Additional Six Sigma and/or Process Improvement training (preferred)
  • Proven record of project management. 
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent understanding and use of Problem-Solving Tools. (DMAIC, 6 Step Problem Solving, 5 Why, SPC)
  • Must be detail oriented while able to understand big picture goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with others at all levels.
  • 3-5 years Film converting experience (preferred).
  • Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills (preferred). 
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and direct employees.
  • Proven Track Record of Leading Process Improvement Teams.
